| Formerly known as West
Hall, Greve is located in the center of campus and houses 382 men.
Why West Hall? At the time of its construction,
there was nothing farther west on campus. In 1963, the building
was dedicated to Ms. Harriett C. Greve, a former Dean of Women at
UT. Greve offers traditional, recently air-conditioned double rooms
with community bathrooms located on each floor. Large recreational
areas, a computer room, a fully equipped weight room, a laundry
room, a music room with piano, a post office, a TV lounge, study
lounges on each floor, and kitchens are available. In addition,
a sand volleyball court is located outside for residents use. The
Granny Greve Convenience Store & Deli is located just off the
lobby. For security purposes, Greve has ID card access readers controlling
the elevators. Visitation option C is available.
